The Nocpix ACE S60R thermal weapon sight is built around the idea of combining leading user-requested features in a streamlined optic that balances advanced capability with ease-of-use in the field. Designed to feel like a traditional day optic, the ACE S60R is compatible with bolt-action or semi-automatic rifles using standard 30 mm mounts and rings. The combination of an internal USB-C charging battery and a removable 18650-style rechargeable battery allows users to hot-swap batteries in the field to run indefinitely. A 1-3x ocular magnifier provides optical magnification of the 2560×2560 round AMOLED display inside the eyepiece. The Vision+ system pairs this high-resolution display with a 15 mK NETD sensor for an incredibly detailed and precise image. The 1,300-yard capable laser rangefinder on the ACE S60R is integrated directly into the 60 mm germanium objective lens. In addition to streamlining the body design and reducing bulk, this allows for improved horizontal alignment of the infrared laser with the viewing system.

Excellent scope so far. Image is crystal clear and the layout for adjustments is simple. Ocular zoom is really quick and doesn’t deteriorate any noticeable amount. There are a few downsides though. Battery life is not the best, but with a 10,000 mah external battery I can easily hunt all night. Ballistics app is dead nuts out to 400 yards. Thumbs up….

Clarity is exceptional and controls are user friendly, Nocpix thought this one thru before they made it. Everything you would use while hunting is extremely easy to access. The battery life is limited to a couple hours but as long as you don’t run the internal battery dead it’s very quick and easy to swap out the battery. 18650 batteries aren’t expensive so if you carry some extras you can hunt as long as you want but I am very disappointed in the battery life. I’ve used external battery packs in the past and don’t like them because the cable and pack are clutter you have to contend with and it adds a little extra weight (not much depending what battery you run). There’s so many features you can control in the main menu (which is a huge improvement) it would take to long to list them all. I would like for it to be smaller but for what it can do I am not going to complain…… Before I finished this review I contacted Nocpix and my new ACE had an old software version, they said the new version will make battery life better and they’re continuing to work on updates to extend battery life.. I hope so, I’ll see how it does and will add to this review if I can get back into it.
