Since it was just released and there are very few reviews I will give you my impression of the Oryx. Those that are used too Pulsar products this thing is amazing for the money. I had an Axion XG35 and this has the same sensor but for some reason the image quality is so much better. Must be the software processing. I really didn’t care about the one-handed controls prior purchase but since I used them it is so much better. The button layout is spot on. No more accidentally hitting the wrong button. The laser rangefinder is precise and not having it protruding out of side makes holding the Oryx a breeze. The Oryx build quality is excellent as all Pulsar products, I have no worries about dropping it or getting it wet. The only minor thing would be that is slightly heavier than the axion but not that is too heavy to be uncomfortable, it just feels solid. I am loving it so far and especially the green color palette. My new go to color palette, so much easier on the eyes. Also, the battery life is incredible. If you are looking at the Oryx but think it’s to new or worried about lack of reviews, I would say go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
